Glasgow Science Centre

I was going to post some older pics from one of my outdoor shootings in Scotland, but I settled to this ones instead. It was just so lovely weather today in Glasgow, that we took a long walk from one bank of the river(where I work) Clyde to the other(where we live). It took just about an hour and a half, but it was lovely. I took some pictures before it got dark(Maybe I should start bringing my tripod to work? Just in case…). This is Glasgow Science Centre, and Glasgow Tower – it revolves 360 degrees from its base(and it’s the highest base-revolving structure in the world) and is the highest building in Scotland – 140 meters(about 459 feet). Anyway just as we were crossing the millenium bridge I saw a nice opportunity – the sun was setting behind the tower, and there were some nice reflections on the water… and here it is…

And You can even see Waverly – an old side-wheeled steamer, that very often sits beneath the Tower. It’s lovely and still in a very good condition! You can even have a trip on it along the Clyde to the Island of Arran. I’ll try to find some better pictures of Weaverly some time.
